Shear Pin Load Cells

Load measuring pins are strain gauge shear pin load cells designed to give a signal output proportional to the applied load.

MSL can supply load pins for a variety of working loads and applications, including mooring hooks, bridles, shackles, chain stoppers, subsea operations such as cable and pipeline laying at depths in excess of 1500 metres, and bespoke projects. 

Their robust stainless steel construction makes them suitable for the harshest of environments. Load pins can be supplied pre-installed and calibrated, or retro-fitted into existing installations for refurbishment work.
